It’s time for the April subscription box favorites round-up post! April sure was a crazy month for us. At the end of March we picked up and moved across the country to Austin so everything has been a little discombobulated since. However, all of my subscription boxes for the month safely made it to our new address so that’s one thing that doesn’t feel out of order in my life- woo hoo! Of course it’s delayed me a bit in getting all the reviews done and my wrap up post put together, but here we are it’s finally complete!
As usual, I’ve picked an item to highlight from each subscription box review I’ve done in the last month so you can get a taste for what comes in each. Be sure to click the link to get the full box reviews so you can get the complete details too! Many are linked over to A Year of Boxes where you can find discount codes and more if you’re interested in subscribing.

Wild Magic Moonlight Facial Oil
This is the product from this month’s featured brand and it’s just so lovely! Not only do I love the packaging and design, but I love that the ingredients include an herbal medicine component to help care for skin. Their description of the product on the blog article says it’s their bestseller and “is a facial oil blend made of ten nourishing botanicals including goji berry, sea buckthorn, raspberry, blueberry, and tamanu. The oils are extremely rich in antioxidants and help replenish the skin’s nutrients while locking in moisture.” I can’t wait to try this one out!

Beyond Lemuria Third Eye Stained Glass Hanging ($22)
“Hang this handmade eye of intuition in a sunny window to illuminate your sacred space with a reminder that wisdom comes from within. Be sure to remove the window hook from your box before recycling.”
I love this item so much! It’s unique and beautiful and will be perfect hanging in a sunny window, preferably near a meditation zone. I’ve never received an item like this from a subscription box so this is such a fun find. The simple design is just so pretty and a good reminder of harmony and inner wisdom.

Plant Based Beauty – Avocado + Algae Mask ($22)
“Plant Based Beauty is dedicated to minimizing its environmental impact by using ethically sourced organic ingredients and conscious package designs. Not only is this face mask packaged in a recyclable jar, but everything included is upcyclable.”
Face masks are my favorite thing to find in subscription boxes so this is awesome! This one is so pretty with it’s rich green hue from the simple ingredients of avocado, moringa and spirulina powders. I love that this one is clay-free so it will be extra gentle and nourishing, while still helping to detox and brighten skin. Plus, this is a Chicago based company so it’s reminding me of home right now!
From Vegancuts Snack Box (full box review here):
Theo Chocolate Peanut Butter & Jelly Cups
“Theo sources Organic & Fair Trade Certified Cocoa, like what goes into these delicious 55% Chocolate PB & J Cups, to ensure that their products benefit farmers & the environment.”
Peanut butter and jelly is one of my top favorite flavor combos, and then paired with chocolate?? These are totally made for me. I cannot wait to dig in and try them. I love these are organic so I can feel good about eating an indulgent treat too.
From Kinder Beauty (full box review here):
Oh My Garden!: Tea Tree & Grapefruit Shampoo Bar ($13.22)
“It’s time to ditch your plastic shampoo bottles and upgrade to a shampoo bar! We at Kinder Beauty love this one in particular because it’s gentle on all hair types, even color-treated hair, and is pH-balanced. Use this bar to protect your color, repair damaged and dry hair, and give your beautiful mane its very own spring cleaning. Pro-tip: cut the bar into half-inch slices so you don’t have to expose the entire bar to water all at once; this will help preserve your bar!”
I love this item! I really like trying out products that reduce waste, and specifically plastic waste so this is great. Shampoo bars are fun to test out too since they are such a different experience than bottled shampoo. This one smells fresh and citrus-y from chamomile, tea tree and grapefruit oils. I can’t wait to test this one out and see how my hair likes it.

Mineral Bubble Bath LAURYN’S GARDEN ($14)
“This luxurious duo of rose petals & mineral sea salts not only makes a beautiful detox soak, but helps to strengthen skin tissue, improve blood circulation, eliminate toxins & balance the skin’s natural pH levels.”
Such a pretty bath salt! I love when florals and petals are included, it makes it look so nice and fancy. This one is simply roses and Dead Sea salt so the soft aroma of rose comes directly from the buds included. This would make for such a calming and beautiful looking bath!

Chives Garden In A Bag, Potting Shed Creations, Idaho
I have been wanting to grow some herbs, but have recently moved into a rental house where I don’t have a gardening space so this item is so perfect! All you do is cut open the top, follow a few easy instructions for planting the seeds right into the bag and wait for your chives to grow! This would fit great in a sunny kitchen window. Can’t wait to have some fresh grown, organic herbs for cooking!
From Earthlove (full box review here):
BATCH Dream CBD Tincture ($75)
“Handmade in small batches in Wisconsin, this all-natural, organic full-spectrum formulation is designed for you to fully recharge and easily drift off to sleep. The tincture is third-party tested and includes the ingredients Organic Hemp Seed Oil, Raw Hemp Extract (Aerial Parts), Organic Black Seed Oil, Organic Peppermint Oil, Dream Terpene Blend. Follow the instructions (printed on page 17 in this mag or the back of the package). Start with less than the recommended dose if you are sensitive or new to CBD products and ask your doctor first if you are taking any medications.”
I’m so excited about this item! I think this was a community pick item and I’m so glad this one won the vote. I’ve been working so hard to try and get better sleep and I’ve tried so many things, but not something like this so it’s perfect! I appreciate so much that it’s formulated specifically for sleep and that it’s made with organic hemp and other ingredients. As a side note, I love the design of the product too – it makes me even more excited to try it. I’ll be testing this one out right away. Fingers crossed it brings me peaceful slumber!

H&J Multi-Purpose Cleaning Tablets ($16.95)
“Each tablet makes up to 24 oz of cleaner. Fill your new glass bottle with water, drop in the tablet, get cleaning, and give yourself gratitude for diverting more plastic from the landfill! Non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty free. All ingredients are on the EPA Safer Chemical Ingredients List and none are on the EWG Unacceptable List and Prop 65 Banned Ingredients List. Aloe scented.”
I have yet to try a cleaning product like this so I’m really excited to find one in this month’s box. It’s awesome how much waste this type of product saves as there would otherwise be 5 plastic bottles tossed away, but instead there are just 5 little packets holding the tabs. This sounds so easy to use and is perfect for using with the bottle above. I can’t wait to test out the cleaning power.
From Bella Vida Box (full box review coming soon!):
Viola Lavande Deep Hydration Hemp Lotion
This lotion is so good! I’m super partial to anything that has a lavender aroma and this one is the perfect balance of the scent. It’s a really lightweight, thinner textured lotion that feels really nice on skin and absorbs quickly and well. It’s the perfect spring/summer body lotion because of that and of course because hemp is ultra-moisturizing. I’ve loved using this one and will be sad when I run out!
That’s a wrap for my April subscription box favorites round-up. Check back next month for more subscription box fun and favorites! 🙂
