I’ve got a new box review for you this month! Well technically this is last month’s box, but my review got a little delayed due to moving. This lovely little box is the brand new Bella Vida Luxury Clean Beauty Box from Bella Vida Santa Barbara. It’s full of beautiful products for your skin and body that are non-toxic, paraben-free, cruelty-free, Leaping Bunny Certified and are sustainably produced and packaged. They kindly sent me this box for review.

I love so much about this subscription box from the products themselves that are made consciously and look and smell amazing, to the incredible value and ability to try several of their products at once for less. Of course with their sustainability practices are awesome too. For one, they ship in eco-friendly packaging thats recyclable. They also offer a zero waste refill program where you can save 40% on refills and they plant a tree with every order to offset carbon emissions, plus they donate 1% of profits to help protect the oceans.

Azul Sea Mineral Clay Powdered Face Mask

I love the name of this clay mask and love that it has a hint of blue to the powder color. What’s even better is that when you add water to apply to skin, it turns a beautiful shade of light baby blue making a visually soothing mask too. This mask is a nutrient-rich and calming face mask that’s good for all skin types, but especially acne-prone and oily. It’s a powdered mask you just need to add a bit of your favorite masking liquid to prepare for application. Masks are one of my favorite things to get in subscription boxes so I know I’ll be using this one a lot. *This is an item in their product line that is available for purchase outside the box. 

Eye Amour Serum

I’m always on the hunt for a great eye serum, so they are fun to find in subscription boxes as well. This one is formulated to reduce fine lines and wrinkles while gently soothing and repairing fragile under-eye skin. It’s made with a blend of organic evening primrose, soothing organic aloe, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid and rich organic oils to deeply hydrate, soothe, repair skin while you sleep. It’s unscented so will work well for sensitive skin too. Coco Citrus Noir Purifying Cleanser

This cleanser is formulated to help skin feel fresh and hydrated as it balances the skin’s pH while cleansing. It’s made with activated charcoal and organic citrus oils which reduce the appearance of scaring and sun damage, along with vitamin C which helps to brighten skin. It smells so cheery and uplifting with it’s sun-drenched citrus scent and makes for the best way to start the day with a refreshing cleanse. *This is an item in their product line that is available for purchase outside the box.

Azul Sea Mineral Body Butter Polish

This body scrub is just so pretty with it’s blue-green color! And anything that’s reminiscent of the ocean is right up my alley. I love body scrubs and this one is no exception. It’s has a wonderfully scrubby texture – not to gritty and not too fine – that helps polish skin to leave it smooth and cleansed. The oils used make the base feel almost creamy so it’s certain to hydrate well after exfoliating. I really enjoy the aroma, it’s light and herbal with maybe a hint of eucalyptus? Whatever it is, I could smell it all day! This is the perfect shower companion. *This item looks to be a limited edition item.

Viola Lavande Deep Hydration Hemp Lotion

This lotion is so good! I’m super partial to anything that has a lavender aroma and this one is the perfect balance of the scent. It’s a really lightweight, thinner textured lotion that feels really nice on skin and absorbs quickly and well. It’s the perfect spring/summer body lotion because of that and of course because hemp is ultra-moisturizing. I’ve loved using this one and will be sad when I run out! Mini Dolce Vanilla Collagen Moisturizer

This moisturizer smells so good! It’s a rich yet soft vanilla aroma with an under hint of lavender that has a wonderful calming effect. The moisturizer itself is a repairing and hydrating cream to soothe and soften skin on the face and neck giving it a youthful glow along with helping to protecting skin from the elements. It’s best for dry, combo and mature skin and is not recommended for very acne prone skin. I have acne prone skin so I might actually use this elsewhere besides my face since it smells so good and seems to hydrate skin so nicely. While it’s a rich cream, it feels lightweight on skin and absorbs really well. *This is an item in their product line that is available for purchase outside the box.

Overall I’m just so pleased with this new subscription box find! From the products to the packaging, it’s just so lovely. Plus it’s an outstanding value! I’d actually received an item from this line in another subscription box previously and enjoyed it, but am so glad to be able to try several more products from the line too. I think this box would make a really great gift item, but of course is perfect to gift yourself so you can try their line and fall in love for less. I highly recommend checking it out!
