Welcome to the start of fall subscription boxes everyone! Did you remember that the first official day of fall was September 21? Or were you actively trying to ignore that fact like me? Ha! It was a beautiful day here on the 21st, 75 degrees and sunny. Sure there was a crispness to the air and the sun has been slowly setting earlier and earlier, but it still felt like summer to me. I’ll take all the warmer days I can get! This month’s subscription boxes brought all kinds of amazing goods to keep my mood lifted, just as summer always does, which will help transition me softly into this fall season.
August Subscription Box Favorites
It’s time again for my August Subscription Box Favorites round up! I can’t take it that summer is nearly almost over. It’s just hands-down the best season there is. The sun, the warmth, the flowers and happy birds and creatures, not to mention the fact that you don’t have to layer on a marshmallow suit to go outside. It’s just the best! It only makes sense then, that some of my favorite subscription box finds yet came this month as I savor the last true summer days this year. I’ve picked an item to highlight from each subscription box review […]
50+ Plastic-Free Beauty, Home & Body Care Items
The month of July might be over, but that doesn’t mean the sentiment of Plastic-Free July (or #PlasticFreeJuly rlly) should end. On the contrary! Reducing plastic waste should be an every day thought and consideration when making purchases. I’ve rounded up as many plastic-free products that I could find in my stash for inspiration and have a whopping 50+ to share on this post. Read on for this plastic-free mega resource!
May Subscription Box Favorites
Another month, an other round up of subscription box favorites! It was a quieter month on the subscription box front, but I still found so many treasures on my doorstep. My very favorite thing about subscription boxes (beside the element of surprise) is discovering new brands and products. This month brought some fun new finds from brands I’ve heard of but never tried (like Joolies). It also brought items from brands (like Klei, Revival Body Care, and Elements Truffles) that I have tried before, but ended up being products from their line I haven’t tried – so they helped me expand my collections! Read on for all the details!
Green Beauty Samples: Put to the Test – Round 8
Do you remember my Rainbow of Samples™ (just kidding it’s not trademarked, but maybe it should be?) stash that I’d been working through?? I know, it’s been awhile since I’ve shared a new one – whoops! I’ve been working through it, I just hadn’t gotten around to putting the posts together so I’ll hopefully have a few to share sooner rather than later this time. These posts might be more for me than anything as I find they keep me accountable for actually trying the samples out that I receive. And it’s not that I don’t want to try them out, I just forget or save them for like a special occasion or something? Who knows, but I do know that I have so many amazing products to try out so I thought I’d keep sharing my first impressions in case any of these are items you’ve been curious about too. Read on for quick first impression reviews from my GOLD stash of samples…
Natural Deodorant Faves – For Sensitive Skin
I’m back with my sensitive skin or baking soda-free deodorant favorites! As mentioned in my very original deodorant favorites post I hop around from deodorant to deodorant often, sometimes because one might all the sudden seem less effective and sometimes just for the curiosity of trying something new. Actually, when I was trying these 3 out I ended up having all three (plus some others) on rotation throughout the week because sometimes I just wanted a different scent or sometimes I didn’t feel like getting my hands messy so I used the stick version. It’s good to have options, ya know? Anyway, if you have sensitive skin and need to avoid baking soda in your natural deodorant, read on for a few that I’ve tried and liked!
Natural Deodorant Current Favorites
I hope you’ve all been taking advantage of this time of being around minimal people to something super important and exciting….and that’s trying out natural deodorant! Obviously, Ha! I mean, there really isn’t a better time, is there? No interaction with strangers or co-workers or even neighbors means that no one will have to know if you try one that doesn’t work. Sweating during a zoom call? No problem. Drenched after a workout? No problem. Even if it doesn’t work, not a soul will know there’s any BO in these situations except maybe your housemates, but they should love you anyway. I know natural deodorant isn’t for everyone, but it’s worth a try to find out! Read on for the most recent natural deodorants that I’ve tried out and really liked…

March Subscription Box Favorites
March was a BUSY month for subscription boxes! I was lucky enough to review a few new boxes in addition to the regulars so even though it was busy, it was so fun too. The new boxes I tried out were Splendid Spoon, Jiyubox, Dinacharya Self Care Box and Swedest Marketplace. Some meals, snacks, skincare and self care – pretty much covered all my bases! Read on for a favorite from each box I reviewed this month!
Swedest Marketplace Box Review – March 2020
I’m so lucky to have recently discovered another new subscription box from Swedest Marketplace. I’m even more lucky to have won a launch box from a recent IG contest! They sent me such an amazing selection of goodies that really impressed me. I’m not obligated in any way to share my thoughts on their new subscription, but since I love subscription boxes (might be borderline obsessed) and the contents are so great, I just had to share (as usual, all opinions are my own)! Swedest Marketplace was born from a family blog created as they guided their daughter through some […]
