I’ve got another gift guide round-up for your holiday shopping needs! This one is all for the kids in your life. Most of these items are thoughtfully crafted, fun, educational and many are even eco-friendly. I feel like there’s a time and a place for the obnoxious plastic toys (which I prefer to get second-hand anyway), but I’d really rather purchase toys that ignite more imagination and whose quality outlasts the length of play. These should all do just that and more!
1 – Animals Book by Ingela P. Arrhenius
My sister bought this for my little gal and it’s amazing. It’s gigantic and the imagery is so beautiful. You could use the pages as posters they are so eye catching.
2 – Veggie Baby Paint
All natural baby finger paint made from vegetable-based powders. For ages 6mo+.
3 – Play Animals – Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia
A 6 piece set of wooden farm animals perfect for little imaginations.
4 – Little Renegades Mindful Kids Cards
A series of cards containing easy exercises to introduce mindfulness to little ones (ages 3+).
5 – Chunky Wooden Alphabet Puzzle
Puzzles are the best for learning and creativity. This one is such pretty colors too!
6 – Little Chew Personalized Rainbow Toy
My little gal loves anything like this chew toy and this one is so fun since it’s able to be personalized.
7 – Eco-Dough from Earth Hero
Non-toxic play dough made from natural ingredients and scented with essential oils.
8 – Rainbow Baby Blanket
Love the sweet simplicity of this blanket, and also that it’s made with organic cotton.
9 – Grimm’s Small Pastel Wooden Rainbow from Oompa
Hours of creative fun with this simple and toy that’s also beautiful to look at.
10 – Slumberkins Unicorn Snuggler
These cozy, snugglers each come with an affirmation card to teach little ones about emotions and feelings. This one teaches the importance of being true to themselves.
11 – Dinkum Dolls
Sweet little simple and soft dolls made of cotton. A portion of sales goes to Save The Children to support global education initiatives too!
12 – Baby Lit Books – Make your own set
I love, love, love the concepts of these books and a create-your-own set is so awesome too. Introducing kids to classic literature at an early age is really cool.
13 – Kid’s Concept Wooden Toaster Set in White from Scandiborn
I cannot get over how beautiful wooden toys are these days. This toaster set is perfect for all the little play kitchens out there.
14 – Balancing Stones
Wooden blocks made with maple wood and painted with non toxic, toy safe certified paint and varnish. They have unique angles that teaches hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, observation, logic and inspires creativity.
15 – Kiko + gg Retro Wooden Telephone in Pink from Wee Mondine
Another wooden toy that’s almost too cute to play with! Plus, I think kids should learn about “old fashioned” telephones too haha. Also, the toy selection at Wee Mondine is divine so you should definitely take a scroll through all the rest!
16 – Forest Kids Norway Pickler Triangle
This looks like something kids would love! It’s especially great for kids that can’t get outside as much during the winter.
17 – Little People, Big Dreams Women in Art Book Set
The whole series of these books is worth collecting, not only for their beauty but also the education. This set is particularly interesting to me – love the women it teaches about.
18 – Wild Oak Co. Mini Wooden Cars
Simply playful wooden cars finished in an all natural, non-toxic beeswax and orange oil polish.
19 – Flamingo Stuffed Animal Rocker Toy, 2 in 1 Rocker
A rocker for little ones that can transition to a wheelie toy when they’re ready.
20 – Slide N Go Dollhouse from Oompa
The cutest dollhouse I’ve ever seen that’s pre-asembled and comes with all the furniture. Plus it’s made from sustainable rubberwood that meets green standards.
It’s so hard to narrow down a gift round-up, but that concludes my list for kids this year. If you have anything fun to add, do so below! I’m always on the lookout for new and fun ideas.
