June Subscription Box Favorites

June Subscription box favorites group

Hooray it’s finally officially summer, my very favorite season! Though, to be fair, since we were lucky enough to move to a warm weather climate it’s actually felt like summer since May, but there’s just something about the official start of summer that brings that certain feeling with it. Carefree, happy vibes abound. I’d bottle it up if I could. Anyway, since this new glorious season is upon us that means that my usual round-up of subscription box reviews is starting to look a little sunnier, brighter, and lighter too. For the month of June they each really packed in the summertime feeling with the products and themes they each chose. Read on to see a couple of my favorite items.

As usual, I’ve picked an item to highlight from each subscription box review I’ve done in the last month so you can get a taste for what comes in each. Be sure to click the link to get the full box reviews so you can get the complete details too! Lilly Be Be Energized Perfume Oil

From Nourish Beauty Box (full box review here):
Lilly Be Be Energized Perfume Oil  ($20)

“An energizing blend that awakens the mind, combats fatigue and reduces mental stagnation with a rich peppermint aroma.”

I love this little perfume roll-on! It’s so cute in it’s bamboo container and it smells really nice. This one is heavily peppermint, but is unique from other energizing peppermint blends I’ve used before. It also has oils of rosemary, grapefruit and ginger to make it extra uplifting and help to slightly warm up the cooling peppermint scent. This one will be good to keep on hand and use to wake up each morning.

lunar phase singing bowl
From Goddess Provisions Box (full box review here):
Lunar Phases Singing Bowl ($33)

“This brass singing bowl is hand cast & hand painted by artisans in India. Ring the bell to set the tone for your sacred rituals and to call in your guides & angels.”

This is such a fun item to add to your altar set up. By guiding the wood tool around the inside of the bowl in a certain way it creates a soothing tone noise that can calm and elevate your mind. It’s a great pair for a meditation practice for sure. I’ve actually got one of these already, but this one is by far the prettier, and now favorite, of the two. Plus I like that this one comes with a little pad to set it on.

woodlot nourishing facial toner
From Maple Box (full box review here):
Woodlot Nourishing Facial Toner ($35)

“From Vancouver-based husband and wife owned brand, is one of our favourite nourishing water-based hyaluronic acid essences, this delivers ingredients directly into the skin after cleansing. A deeply hydrating blend of rose water, witch hazel and probiotic radish root ferment make this treatment the ultimate in tightening and soothing. Mist and gently press into the skin, follow-up with moisturizer and oil. Make way for radiant skin.”

I’ve been wanting to try something from this brand for a long time so I was really happy to find this product when I opened the box. It’s a lightweight, hydrating toner made with hyaluronic acid and rose water and it just smell so lovely. I can’t exactly put my finger on it’s aroma, but I just can’t stop smelling it. This will be a wonderful addition to my skincare routine.

Nala lemon myrtle and geranium deodorant
Another from Maple Box because I couldn’t decide:
Nala Care Free-Free Deodorant (Peppermint Charcoal or Lemon Myrtle or Sandalwood Bergamot) ($30)

“Developed by mother-daughter entrepreneur duo, comes Nala Care, free-from skincare. Losing a vital member of their family to cancer was the impetus for a deep inquiry into the realities of health and well-being. Leveraging their backgrounds in biotech engineering and technology, they developed a line of deodorants free-from the worst offenders in the cosmetic world. We love that each deodorant is created with a pleasing, fresh and non-invasive natural fragrance. Each box will be receive one of their best-selling original free-from deodorants; Peppermint & Charcoal Detox, Lemon Myrtle & Geranium or Sandalwood & Bergamot. Ingredients nourish, moisturize and repair delicate underarm skin. With daily use, one stick lasts between 3-6 months.”

I’ve actually tried this all-natural deodorant before and loved it so I am so excited to find it in this season’s box. Not only is it beautifully packaged, but it’s on my list of deodorants that actually work. Out of the three options I received the Lemon Myrtle & Geranium (which in itself just sounds fancy) and it smells so delightful. It’s fresh, bright and a bit grounding with it’s hint of citrus and herbal geranium notes. I love the inspiration behind the product and really connect with their message of healing and caring for ourselves.

Bombay and cedar calm aroma mist
From Essentials Crate (full box review here):
Aromatherapy Body & Linen Mist Bombay & Cedar ($24)

“Crafted with pure essential oils & organic ingredients, this aroma therapeutic mist can be used any time day or night when you need a moment of calm. Spray your linens for a refresh, your pillows for a restful night’s sleep, or yourself for some stress relief.”

This aroma mist smells SO good! I wasn’t really sure what to expect ho wood to smell like, but it brings an earthy tone to the floral citrus aroma this mist has. it’s refreshing and bright but also calming at the same time. Definitely a soothing and relaxing aroma. I already can’t stop spraying this one all around me, I’m sure I’ll have used it up in no time.

Wildflower soap bar
From Wildflower Club (full box review here):
Wildflower Bar Soap, A Wild Soap Bar, Texas

What a coincidence, this bar is made right here in the Austin, TX area where I just moved! I’ve seen this brand and eyed this soap because of it’s confetti-like soap curls so I’m so excited to find it in this box. I am also obsessed with handmade soaps, so I’m doubly excited to use it. It smells so nice and floral-y, but not over the top. It’s grounding and would be a great shower companion to start the day off on a bright note.

Byta water bottle
From greenUP Box (full box review here):
Byta Bottle Stainless Reusable ($31.00)

“Over 480 billion disposable bottles are produced every year! Your byta bottle in the color navagio is an effortless way to reduce plastic. We didn’t know a water bottle could look this good! A double wall, vacuum sealed stainless steel bottle made to take with you wherever you go. Each byta bottle includes a screw on wooden cap with a silicone carry ring. By using a reusable bottle instead of buying plastic water bottles, you’re saving an average of $266 a year!”

I love this water bottle! I’m always in need of bringing water along with me on the go and have been meaning to get another bottle for the road so this is perfect. It is such a chic design with it’s minimalist silhouette and wooden cap. So not only is this super useful but looks so beautiful too. I will be using this one a lot!
