March was a BUSY month for subscription boxes! I was lucky enough to review a few new boxes in addition to the regulars so even though it was busy, it was so fun too. The new boxes I tried out were Splendid Spoon, Jiyubox, Dinacharya Self Care Box and Swedest Marketplace. Some meals, snacks, skincare and self care – pretty much covered all my bases! Really though, there was so much self-care was delivered last month and just when it was needed too. That’s one reason I really like subscription boxes because it takes the guess work and thinking out of the equation for you. You don’t need to think about giving your self a treat or how to create moments of me-time, these boxes deliver is straight to your door. They all send along such thoughtfully curated selections each month, but did especially well this month. Having new products to try out keeps some normalcy and groundedness in my day so for that I’m very grateful!
Read on for a favorite from each box I reviewed this month. As usual it was really hard to choose, so be sure to click the link to get the full box reviews too. I’ve also got to mention that many are linked over the A Year of Boxes where you can find discount codes and more. The link to Jiyubox takes you to my blog and has a discount code for the Spring Collection too!

Klei Beauty Coconut Milk & Rice Bran Cleanse Foaming Face Wash Mini ($12)
“Gently cleanses the skin and clears build-up in pores without stripping the skin barrier. Besides increasing blood circulation for improved collagen production.”
I have been eyeing this brand so I’m so excited to find this product in this month’s box! It’s a dry powder cleanser that says it foams when you add water to it. It’s made with things like rose clay, white clay, SCI (a coconut oil-based cleanser), coconut milk powder, rice bran and chamomile powder. You just add water until it forms a paste and then apply in circular motions to the face, followed by rinsing with water. It’s gentle and good for any skin type. I’m so intrigued by this one and can’t wait to try it.
From Kinder Beauty Box (full box review here):
Glaminizers Dew + Renew Mist ($24)
“Renew + Dew is a clean, vegan setting spray that will give you the full glam experience you’ve always wanted. It’s infused with vegetable glycerin – a natural humectant that provides a dewy, skin-like texture—while added rosewater boosts moisture, and arrowroot provides a silky finish. There’s really no other makeup mist that can compete with this skincare-in-a-bottle. Go ahead, shake and spray for that luminosity. Not to brag, but we think you’ve found next Holy Grail!”
This skin mist is like a primer for your skin. You can wear it alone for luminous skin or apply under makeup to make it set and wear better. I generally don’t use primers as they can sometimes feel heavy or unnecessary, but this one looks and feels so light and refreshing it’s a total change of pace and makes me want to test it out. It almost feels like a toner, but has a few extra ingredients to give it that primer quality. It smells really bright and fresh from the lavender and citrus essential oils. I can’t wait to try this one out!

Osea Ocean Cleanser Travel Size ($18)
“Gently exfoliates with beet-derived vegan lactic acid.”
This is exciting to find! I’ve been wanting to try this cleanser for awhile now so it’s perfect that it showed up in this month’s box. I first of all love the name of it- Ocean Cleanser just elicits calming skin vibes. It smells so calming too – like fresh citrus that’s been tamed with a grounding earthy vibe. It has a light creamy texture and looks like it would make a really nice cleansing experience. It’s made with vegan lactic acid to soften and smooth skin leaving it clear and radiant. It’s also formulated with plant-based probiotics and is pH balanced to keep skin soothed and help it restore. I cannot wait to try this one!
From Vegancuts Snack Box (full box review here):
Partake Birthday Cake Cookies
More cookies, yay! These even seem a bit healthier, or at least fit within even more diet guidelines, as they are gluten-free, peanut free, and top 8 allergen friendly. They are made with a gluten free flour blend of cassava flour, white rice flour, and oat flour. They have added vegetable extracts (including spinach and broccoli) for extra nutrients and the sprinkles are even colored with just vegetables. Cookies aren’t an every day thing for me but I love them and really love that these are a healthier option for a sweets craving. Plus the birthday cake flavor is so fun!

Opagee Purity Essential Oil Blend ($12)
“Use this all natural oil to scent the air or cleanse your altar. Add a drop to some purified water and spritz lightly.”
I love essential oil blends and this one sounds amazingly crisp, bright, soothing and refreshing. It’s made with eucalyptus, rosemary, tea tree, peppermint, lemon, ginger and pine needle oils – what a unique blend?! This would be great in the diffuser for purifying the home and cleansing the air of anything stale hanging around. I’ll be using this one a lot until we can open the windows and get some fresh air, and then I’ll probably still keep use it after that too!

Wellness Shot
“These shots are the plant-power you need from Mother Nature’s medicine cabinet. Perfect for a quick dose of feel-better, on-the-go. Immune-boosting shots that provide a quick and easy dose of nutrients. For use when you: feel under the weather (stop that scratch in your throat), need of an extra boost of energy in the A.M., or have a case of the post-lunch slump (ginger is great for digestion!).”
This wellness shot’s ingredient list is made up of: Organic orange juice, organic lemon juice, organic ginger juice, organic oregano extract (dried oregano leaf, vegetable glycerin, water), and Himalayan sea salt. This could not have come at a better time! I’m doing anything I can to boost my immunity right now and this is such a quick and convenient way to do just that. It’s actually a pretty tasty little beverage, but does have a very strong taste. It’s a bit sour like lemon and very gingery so there’s a good kick of spicy heat that hits the throat. It’s definitely easier to drink like a shot with a quick gulp, but I sipped a few drinks so I could really taste the flavor and I didn’t mind it at all. The heat clears quickly and you can always follow with a swig of water to wash that down. These are not only good for immunity, but ginger and lemon also help with digestion too. I would definitely order this item again. Right now all new subscriptions get a free wellness shot so it’s a good time to sign up and try this one out. It says they have more flavors coming soon so I’ll be excited to see what those end up being.

Lotus Wei Aura Mist & E-Book Download
“The Infinite Love Aura Mist is made with flower essences to awaken loving kindness for yourself + others, combined with wild-crafted essential oils and infused in purified water. Mist around your head and shoulders 5 times each day for best results. Infinite Love is our most popular blend for self-love + self-acceptance. It helps us feel totally comfortable with ALL parts of ourselves + enhances our ability to deeply appreciate our uniqueness + be seen as we truly are. Crunchy Mama Box Subscribers also receive LotusWei’s e-book “Flower Elixers for Mama and Baby” as a download.”
I love everything I try from Lotus Wei and this aura mist is no exception! The thoughtfulness that goes into each of their products is incredible. And they always smell so wonderful too. This one smells like a sweet and earthy rose with a hint of citrus. It’s calming and soothing to me. I think that it’s ability to relax the mind is what paves the way for it’s ability to encourage giving yourself love and kindness. Both of those things are surely needed to maintain internal harmony. I’ll be keeping this one near me for a mist of uplift and centering when I need the reminder. I also wanted to note that the extra e-book download is a great bonus. It will be fun to research more into how to use their flower elixirs for my baby too!
From Swedest Marketplace (full box review here):
Jem Organic Superberry Almond Butter
The Superberry blend is almond butter elevated! This delicious spread is made with sprouted organic almonds and antioxidant-rich Maqui, Lucuma and Camu Camu fruits and berries. Almond butter is already a superfood – now it’s reached another level.
Wow, this is so delicious! This was the first thing I dug into and I’m so glad I did. I’m a packaging nerd and so my eye was drawn to the clean and fun aesthetic of this one, so that’s why I grabbed it first (also, I was in need of a snack, haha). This almond butter is next level as it’s got a deliciously sweet and tart superfood berry blend added to it. It’s not as thick as plain almond butter normally is, it’s actually more runny, but that was actually perfect for spreading and would be even more perfect for drizzling on top of oatmeal, a smoothie bowl or really everything! It’s entirely organic and is sweetened only with coconut sugar. I’m sure I’ll be ordering more jars of this one when it runs out.
From Jiyubox (full box review here):
FIG + YARROW Eyebright Coffee Bean Eye Cream ($38 USD / $50.34 CAD)
This ultra-light and hydrating cream is formulated to renew, protect, and hydrate the delicate eye area. Potent antioxidants and cell-nourishing botanicals aid in the minimization of superficial fine lines while working beneath the surface to fortify and hydrate cells.
I’ve got a perpetual case of tired eyes with being a mom to a toddler, so I need all the help I can get in perking up my peepers (had to say it, ha). I’ve purchased Fig + Yarrow products before and have loved everything I’ve tried, and with their recent product line refresh I’m sure I will love this one even more. Despite it’s name, it doesn’t smell like coffee. Instead it has and invigorating, kind of herbal and pine wood scent – like sweet fresh cut branches. It’s a lightweight cream that rubs in easily and only a little product is needed, it goes a long way. It dries pretty matte, yet still feels moisturizing. I will be applying this day and night I’m sure, but seems especially good for daytime use since it’s not heavy and I’d think would work well under makeup.
From Dinacharya Selfcare Box (full box review here):
Plant Alchemy CBD chocolate
Each of these decadent bars contains 30 mg of CBD. There’s a lot to learn about CBD but the benefits that have me most excited are, reduced stress and anxiety, better sleep, pain relief and reduces inflammation.
I’m so excited to try this chocolate out! I haven’t tried a CBD chocolate yet, but I really need to. A treat that combines benefits like stress-reduction and better sleep? There couldn’t be a better match. This bar is made with such simple and clean ingredients so that you can feel even better about eating it too. The ingredient list includes: organic raw cacao butter, organic raw cacao powder, raw honey, sea salt and coconut oil along with the 30mg of organic hemp-derived CBD isolate. I love that it’s sweetened with just raw honey so it basically makes it a health food and not a treat, haha. I also really like that all the ingredients are organic and that the cacao is fair trade and ethically sourced from Ecuador.
There’s my March round-up of subscription box favorites. Check back next month for more favorites and perhaps some more new boxes too! 🙂
