I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: subscription boxes are a great way to discover new green beauty products at a fraction of the cost. They make great gifts too. There is literally a subscription box out there for any kind of interest. I mean, hop on over to A Year of Boxes and you’ll see what I mean! With gift giving season fast approaching a subscription box would be a super easy and thoughtful gift. Subscription boxes are so fun because you never know what you’re going to get so giving one is like a surprise of surprises!
It does help to know what types of items are included before committing to a subscription though. To help narrow your choices for gift giving I’ve rounded up some of my favorite items that I found in my November boxes so you can see what you can expect. Every box I receive is awesome in it’s own unique way and any one of these would be awesome to find under the Christmas tree! If you’re intrigued by any individual item be sure to click on the full review for further details.

Leahlani Bless Beauty Balm ($13)
Bless your skin with potent, skin-softening and skin nourishing ingredients. Rich butters combined with orange blossoms and blue tansy oils nurture and help reduce inflammation.
I have been eyeing the Leahlani brand for SO long but I’ve still never tried anything from them so I was so excited to find this item in the box. Bless Balm is a rich and luxurious facial moisturizer made with organic and cold-pressed beauty oils to nourish and hydrate skin. It says it’s for all skin types but especially beneficial for sensitive, dry and mature skin so my sensitive and dry skin can’t wait to try this one. It’s also a very pretty pink color and smells heavenly – orange blossom floral. So good!

Crystal Crowe by Paige Encourage Gratitude Soy Candle Tin ($12)
Light your candle and sit with intention to cultivate gratitude, a process that will cleanse and purify the heart.
This candle smells so good! It’s scent is cinnamon vanilla and is just the perfect blend. It’s spicy with a sweet undertone and reminds me of the holiday season. It also includes a handful of small garnet stones. Garnets are said to be the stone of prosperity and abundance and they are to encourage gratitude and service to others so the stone is perfect for this candle’s meaning and this time of year!

LĒNUS Handcrafted 1 oz No. 01 Vitamin Beauty Balm ($24)
- In 2013, Laura Lisauskas distilled a passion for botany, a love for design and a drive for independence into the all-natural skincare brand LĒNUS Handcrafted.
- LĒNUS cleansers, toners, face masks, scrubs and balms are formulated with
- clean and effective bases of aloe vera, plant oils and local raw honey, and infused with essential oils.
- The LĒNUS No. 01 Beauty Balm is a unique blend of deeply nourishing botanical oils, vitamin C + E + B, and organic shea butter. Use this luxurious multipurpose balm to nourish dry skin, relieve minor rashes, and even cleanse the skin!
This beauty balm is great! It’s rich and moisturizing and perfect for my dry winter skin. It says it’s for the face but I think it would be great for hands too. My hands get extra dry in the winter and I’m sure this would help. It’s full of mega moisturizing ingredients like shea butter and kokum butter along with skin repairing ingredients like vitamins and carrot and sea buckthorn extracts. I really like the all natural ingredient list, many are even organic. It smells light, yet rich. It’s a little sweet, a little floral and a little earthy. It doesn’t feel greasy on my skin but since it’s a richer balm if I were to use it on my face I’d probably use it at night.

Wyldflower Labs’ Glow Serum ($29.99)
Made with Bulgarian rose & roman chamomile hydrofoils & surface exfoliating 15% AHA fruit acids, this serum is able to restore a youthful glow to your complexion. Use it before bedtime.
I like the sounds of this serum and what it can do to exfoliate and give skin some glow. It’s a serum with a gel-like consistency that absorbs well into skin. Bulgarian rose and roman chamomile calm skin, 15% AHA fruit acids help exfoliate surface skin, carrot seed oil and green algae help smooth fine lines and hydrate, and shea butter, strawberry seed oil and orange seed oil deliver antioxidants that help refine pores and plump skin. Due to the orange seed oil it smells a hint citrusy, but it isn’t too strong. It’s meant to be used at night so it can work it’s magic while you’re sleeping. I’m really curious to give this one a try.

HAN Eyeshadow (Romance or Decadent) ($15)
HAN’s vegan, all natural and talc-free Eyeshadows enhance your natural beauty, healthily. Formulated with natural rice powder instead of talc, HAN’s Eyeshadow collection delivers a smooth finish for blending and building with color derived from natural plant and mineral pigments. HAN Eyeshadows are infused with organic shea butter and organic argan oil, along with antioxidant-rich superfruit extracts, to benefit and nourish the skin.
I really like HAN Eyeshadows. They come in great neutral colors that would work with and enhance any skintone. There were two shade options to receive this month and I got Decadent. It’s a brown-ish, coppery, rose-gold color with a hint of shimmer. It looks dark in the pan but applies lighter and more pinky on skin. I love this color for fall and will be wearing it a lot.

Bonus! INIKA Long Lash Vegan Mascara ($33.00)
This is such a great bonus item! This is my fist box from them so that’s why I received a bonus item. All new subscribers in November either got this or an alternative bonus item. I’m stoked I got this one because I’ve been eyeing this brand for awhile but haven’t tried any of their products yet. I’ve heard great things about this mascara so I’m glad this was the first of their products I’ll try. It’s a luxurious formula that uses 100% plant derived and natural ingredients. It says it boost lash length and volume- both of which I look for in a mascara! It’s a great dark black color and has a traditional wand which I generally prefer.

Our selective base oils further deepen your therapeutic experience. Providing the body with the essential nutrients that nourish at the deepest levels.
This item could not be more perfect for the season we’re in. My skin is really starting to show signs of being parched from the cold weather so I’m definitely in need of some major hydration. When my skin get’s dry it gets a bit red and inflamed so I like that this can help calm that too. It’s packed in a beautiful glass jar and smells really good and earthy. It’s a grounding scent that’s warm and forest-y with a fresh herb-y undertone. It’s a super rich and thick cream that rubs in nicely and doesn’t actually feel greasy. It’s made with the organic oils of shea, hemp, olive, jojoba and babassu for maximum moisturizing.
The Merkaela box is just so good I couldn’t pick only one so there’s 2:

Experience restful sleep with a clear mind and a happy heart. The relaxing aroma of the lavender blend imparts an overall sense of wellbeing. The mineral-rich salts work hard to detoxify the body. Naturally realigning the physical and energetic body. Melting away stress while taking care of aching muscles.
I somewhat recently discovered that I love baths after not taking one for years so this is a wonderful product to receive. Baths are a nice way to take care of your body and ease muscle tension but are also a great way to take care of your mind and it’s ease it’s tension too. It is specifically formulated to promote relaxation and includes ingredients such as Mediterranean sea salt, Himalayan salt, epsom salt and dendritic salt along with lavender buds, passion flower and a lavender essential oil blend. The flower buds and pink Himalayan salt chunks make it look so pretty in the jar and the essential oils make it smell incredible. I can’t wait to take a bath with this one!
There’s my November round-up of subscription box favorites. Did any inspire to you to gift this holiday season?? I’d love to know!
