November is one of my favorite months of the year because not only is it the month of Thanksgiving, but also my birthday! It made each subscription box delivery feel like a little birthday present. And thankfully there were some really fun finds to make the month extra special. So it only makes sense that I’ve rounded up all my favorites from my favorite thing (subscription boxes) for my favorite month!
As usual, I’ve picked an item to highlight from each subscription box review I’ve done in the last month so you can get a taste for what comes in each. Be sure to click the link to get the full box reviews so you can get the complete details too! From Nourish Beauty Box (full box review here):
Lovesong Beauty Weightless Leave-In Conditioner ($36)
“Nurtures and invigorates hair with its blend of evening primrose oil, jojoba seed oil, sunflower seed oil and shea butter fruit.”
I’m so glad to see another Lovesong product this month! They sent the dry shampoo gel last month and have sent their other product in the product line this time. I actually already own it as I had bought it after being influenced on IG, but I’m so glad to have a back up for when I run out. It’s a great product that I’ve been using to smooth my wavy hair for air drying along with my usual salt spray. A little goes a long way so this little bottle should last a long time. The smell is one I couldn’t put my finger on without looking at the label. It’s a sweet floral-esque aroma, but with a bit of herbal earthiness I think? The ingredients say it’s green tea, rose, jasmine and vanilla so I was right, but still don’t think I can explain the scent well. Anyway, this is a great product and I’m glad it was in this month’s box.
From Goddess Provisions Box (full box review here):
Crescent Moon Rainbow Maker ($22)
“Let the light in and watch as rainbows decorate your space. Place this hanging in your window with the included hook to remind you of the light that surrounds you.”
Love this item!! I always loved my sun-catcher I had when I was little, the rainbows were so fascinating. This one is certainly stepped up a notch with it’s lovely wood crescent moon addition that also has “Shine Your Light” inscribed on the side. Of course this is activated by the suns energy, but will still look beautiful with the moons glow too. I’ve got the perfect sunny window to hang this up and and can’t wait to get the rainbows flowing.
And another from Goddess Provisions because I couldn’t decide!
New Moon Roll-On ($20)
“Create new beginnings and renew your energy with this essential oil blend of lavender, chamomile, lemongrass, peppermint, and rosemary.”
What an uplifting aroma perfect for inspiring new beginnings! It’s grounding, cleansing, uplifting and really clears the senses. I can’t stop smelling this one and know I won’t be able to just use it for when the new moon comes around. It’ll be an everyday item, good for my mornings to start the day on the right foot.
From Essentials Crate (full box review here):
Batch Dream CBD Oil Tincture ($74.99)
“Handcrafted by a team of chemists, this CBD tincture is organically grown & formulated to helpyou fully recharge & get a restful sleep. Third party tested & every purchase plants a tree.”
This is a fun sleep help product and has an awesome value too! I’ve actually tried this out through another subscription box before, though I can’t say if I like the results or not as I haven’t used it constantly enough. However, am I still really interested in giving it more of a chance so I’m glad to have this backup. I’m really hopeful with consistent use that it will bring that deep rest I’ve been craving. We’ll see!
From The Manifestation Box (full box review here):
Opal Pendant Necklace ($29 value)
You will also find a handcrafted gemstone necklace in each monthly box. It is also made with carefully picked healing crystals based on the energies in the Universe to assist your practice. The “Gracefully Aging” necklace this month is made with the most lovely opal stone that’s a swirled mix of turquoise and black. I’ve always known opal to be a white iridescent stone, so this is neat to see a different form of it. That in itself is a nice reminder that the same thing can be beautiful in different ways just like past and future versions of ourselves. I always gravitate toward the color turquoise so I really like this necklace for that reason and of course for it’s healing properties too. Plus, the size of the pendant is just right making it great for everyday wear.
The pendant is made from opal so the included information shared this about it’s properties: “Opal enhances cosmic consciousness and induces psychic and mystical visions. It stimulates originality and creativity. Helps to release anger and claim self worth, aiding in accessing and expressing one’s true self.” Expression of true self is what I grabbed on to from that statement and love that it can help enhance that. Wearing a bold piece of jewelry is already a great start to expressing yourself so the fact that it holds energies that align with that is just perfect!
From See New Skincare (full box review here):
Face Mask – SEA ($65)
“Full of micronutrients, honey combined with vitamin E, SEA is a gift from nature for deep moisturizing and brightening of your skin. Spirulina, the deep blue treasure of this concoction, is known to be a superfood and full of vitamins was specially chosen to eliminate toxins and to increase the rejuvenation of your skin. This smooth combination is a great way to fight aging and provide oxygen to your skin.”
Anything that nods reference to water or the sea hooks me right away. I would buy all the sea skincare if I could so I’m excited to find this Sea Face Mask in this month’s box. The ingredients all sound so nourishing to the skin (much like the sea is to the soul), especially the spirulina which gives it it’s deep ocean color and the honey which is an ingredient I’m often drawn to for skincare. It smells earthy and a bit sweet due to the honey. I’m definitely trying this one out first!
From Maple Box (full box review here):
East 29th Vital Serum ($88)
“Developed by Vancouver-based makeup artist, Victoria Ferguson. She spent more than a decade as a makeup artist in the film industry, which evolved into learning about what kind of nourishment great skin needs. Aptly named, Vital Serum is designed to deliver a high concentration of all-natural ingredients; Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, Lemon Rind Extract, and Vitamins C and E. Applied after cleansing thoroughly, these ingredients combined will improve hydration, texture, and tone while also firming, promoting elasticity, and smoothing wrinkles. It’s the most advanced skin care product that we’ve ever included inside The Maple Box. We hope that you and your face, soak up all the nourishment and glow. Made in British Columbia.”
I’m excited to find this item in the box this season! I had missed out on it in another subscription box and though it sounded delightful and like something my skin would benefit from. I especially like the hyaluronic acid and niacinamide ingredients (and so does my skin) so I’m looking forward to adding this one to my routine this season. It has light texture somewhere between an oil and a gel and absorbs into skin nicely. It doesn’t have much of a scent either which makes me feel like its going to work for sure since the focus is on the ingredients, not the aroma.
Another from Maple Box because I couldn’t decide:
Blume Pumpkin Spice Blend ($14)
“Nothing sparks autumnal joy quite like the taste and fragrance of pumpkin spice. But we want real pumpkin spice, nothing synthetic. This blend from Blume, combines real organic pumpkin with organic maple and organic spices. Beautifully ground powder means that it’s incredibly versatile, beyond adding to a shot of espresso and milk (or plant-mylk), use on its own, in oatmeal, energy balls, smoothies and more. The cozy possibilities are endless. Enjoy! Made in British Columbia.”
I’ve eyed this brand before and have been wanting to try it so I’m glad to find it this season! I’m especially glad to find it’s the pumpkin varietal too, it’s the only flavor that makes sense for fall really. It’s made with simple ingredients like pumpkin, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and cardamom for making a simple and healthy pumpkin beverage. I don’t drink caffeine so I appreciate getting beverages like this to try out. It’s versatile since those that do drink caffeine could add it to a latte and those that don’t can just add a nut milk or something else for a delicious treat.
From Merkaela Box (full box review here):
Nourishing Body Butter Lavender ($30.00)
“Beneficial to all skin types, deep healing on dry cracked skin. The Nourishing body butter provides skin deep hydration and new cell growth. Apply to the body to improve problematic skin and promote cell repair. Use the Nourishing body butter on dry skin, stretch marks, blemishes, cellulite, mild burns, eczema flare-ups, sunburn, rashes, bruises, insect bites and to keep skin infections at bay. The Calendula licorice herbal extract-infused oils such as Shea & Jojoba, will further deepen your botanical experience. Providing the body with hydrating nourishment and essential nutrients it craves at the deepest levels.”
This body butter, like all their body butters, smells so amazing! It’s labeled as lavender and definitely has lavender aromas, but is also blended with some other scents that soften and warm it up. It’s really so cozy and nice. This texture on this one is more whipped-like and melts right into skin. I really like this one and will be using if for any dry winter skin!
