Goddess Provisions Box: January

Yeah, yeah, I know we all want to forget January (the black sheep of the months) and hightail it to spring but I must rewind and share the Goddess Provisions box I received last month because it was the perfect theme to start the year off on the right foot and jumpstart my stagnant creativity. The theme was “Let your creativity flow” and included items to help expand creative vision. I think creativity can be harder to dig up during the winter months, but maybe that’s just because we are buried in a foot of snow here and an snuggled […]

Goddess Provisions Box: May

I decided posting a recap of my May Goddess Provisions box was necessary even though we are halfway into June. It’s just too good not to share. The theme for May was “Lunar Love” and since a new moon is coming up on June 23 I figured you all could use some inspiration for how to kick off the new cycle. The new moon is a great time to feel introspective so grab one (or all) of these products, think about your goals and set some intentions for the new cycle of energy coming your way. Kate’s Magik Moon Goddess […]

It’s finally Friday (woo!) and I finally have some time to do another “Friday Fun” links roundup! It’s certainly a broken record statement, but dang this year is going fast. I can’t believe we’re halfway through June! I’ve been rounding up (aka: hoarding) these links for awhile and have had good intentions of sharing but, ya know, life. Perhaps you’ve already seen some of these, but I’m sharing regardless ? even if they are old news. I have always had a penchant for all things retro…Enjoy! First Things First Eeee!! The little bumble-Beys could be arriving any day now! The twitter-verse […]

Friday Fun: Fertility Edition

(Image Source: the talented courtneymprivett on Instagram, her blog is here. So creative!) Hooray! We made it to Friday! Since it’s National Infertility Awareness week I thought I’d share some of my favorite finds from throughout the week to entertain you that are related to this topic (and a few that aren’t 🙂 because I can’t forget to mention the funnies). This is a wonderfully written article on normalizing infertility. Many people don’t realize that the need to use donor eggs in some IVF cycles is a very real and necessary thing for some couples. This article gives insight what it’s like […]

National Infertility Awareness Week 2017

Hey everyone – Listen Up! It’s National Infertility Awareness Week this week! I’ve got my megaphone ready to spread the news and raise awareness! Infertility is a disease that takes away one’s right to build a family. It affects 1 in 8 couples so you very likely know someone who has struggled through this challenging process. It’s often a taboo subject and one that many people prefer to keep private, as it’s a very personal issue. This has lead to a stigma that it’s something to be ashamed of. However, it’s SO common and the more people that speak up […]

Friday Fun

I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite finds from around the interwebs as a little Friday pick-me-up, a push to get through the last few hours before the weeeekend! It’s a little smorgasbord of content for you to feast your eyes on. ? Check out what grabbed my attention this week: This is just too cute not to share. Does anyone else love squirrels and miniature things??  I also love goats. And I especially love jumping goats. I’m just going to assume you do too and share this little funny. Here’s another funny. I admit I identify with a […]

Goddess Provisions Box: March

Goddess Provisions Box once again curated an awesome collection of products for the March monthly box. I love the ocean more than most things so I was extra excited when I found out the theme was “Mermaid Magic” and is filled with products to help you “be a goddess of the sea.” It’s perfect for those of us who are dreaming of the beach right now but can’t be there. Read on to sea (#sopunny) what was included: Moon Magic Mermaid Ocean Mask This mask brings the nourishing elements of the ocean to your skin. It’s made with ocean botanicals, […]

Oxalis Apothecary: Wildflower Clay Mask

Self-care care be hard to fit in but’s it’s so important! It’s like the trusty airline wisdom: You’ve gotta take care of yourself before you can take care of others. Masking is a fantastic way to self-care. Just mix it up, slather it on and kick back for a few deep breaths to relax while it does it’s magic. It makes you slow down for a minute and you’re able to take care of your skin while your at it: the only way to multi-task. This Wildflower Clay Mask from Oxalis Apothecary is one of my faves. What it is: […]

Goddess Provisions Box: February

The weather last month was so uncharacteristic of a typical February and March has been off to an interesting start too. I’ve loved being able to soak up some vitamin D here and there. It’s been fantastic for my mental well-being! This of course is not necessarily a good sign for the future of our planet, but that’s a topic for a different day. None-the-less it’s got me thinking all about spring and the good things that come with it like flowers and sun! This month’s Goddess Provisions box fit right along with those thoughts of spring. The theme was “Flower […]

Winter Lip Care

Dry, cracked and flakey lips have always plagued me. I love the idea of wearing lipstick and have always been jealous of the everyday wearer, but I generally avoid it because adding lipstick to that mess just plain doesn’t work. It creases, accentuates the flakes and wears off weird, not to mention it’s just hard to apply evenly. I’ve tried TONS of products over the years but many just mask the problem or make it worse or have terrible ingredients that you just end up ingesting. I have finally found a regimen that has healed things up and the results […]
