The Farmer's Touch Advent Calendar

We’re halfway through advent-ing season so I’ve got to know what fun things you’ve uncovered so far?! Here at my house we have a tiny village advent, an ornament advent, a marshmallow advent, a healing gemstone and jewelry advent and I’ve more recently just added this absolutely fun skincare and beauty advent to my collection too (yes, I think it’s become a collection now at 5), because the more the merrier right?! So it’s safe to say we’ve uncovered some real treasures so far and this advent sure adds nicely to the mix.

This advent is The Farmer’s Touch Advent Calendar and it includes 24 days of amazing hand crafted products. If you haven’t heard of The Farmer’s Touch before, they make chemical-free, cruelty-free, handcrafted products made directly from the field for your skin. Their products are always organic and as sustainably packaged as possible and they are always committed to learning and advancing their products and their company. I’ve previously done a few reviews that you can find here and here if you want any more details on their products. Now on to the advent…

The products included range from skincare and body care to cosmetics and fragrances. It seems to me that some are products from the line and some are maybe extra special releases and only available in this advent, so, likely exclusive! Each item is wrapped in a numbered burlap bag that’s tied with a cute red ribbon. Each bag also has a ribbon loop on the top so you can string them all on the included rope and hang it up as a Christmas decoration too.

The packaging is an extra bonus with this advent as once the products have been opened and used, this advent can be re-used and re-used for years to come by just adding your own fun trinkets to the bags. Also, each daily bag comes with a corresponding envelope that tells you what the product is, what the ingredients are and how to use it. Each card also has an inspirational quote or saying on it to make opening each even more fun and meaningful.

Advent Calendar Details

So far I’ve only opened up to day 12 (I like surprises and I like to follow rules haha) and this is what has been included:

Jasmine Lotion – very floral, very moisturizing
Cherry Rose Mask – beautifully hued mask with a rose aroma
Mood Scent Roll-On – Peachy Farm Girl – bright and fresh!
Lip Gloss – a deep warm shimmery purple hue, good for adding drama
Night Time Facial Lotion for Toning & Tightening – a great item for aging skin
Bourbon Body Oil – this one smells manly and fresh, kind of like aftershave
Rose Hip Oil – good for skin and love the floating rosebuds
Manuka Honey Eye Mask – love any Manuka skincare and these sound intriguing
Vanilla Healing Hand Balm – a rich balm that melts into skin and smells like sweet vanilla
Bourbon Body Whip – light lotion with a light aroma too
Lavender Facial Tea – says it’s a cleanser, but with it’s roll-on applicator, may be good for toning
Rose Mud Mask – love the plum hue and the rose aroma on this one, also the ease of use!

All-in-all the mix so far has been fun! There’s been a great variety of items, aromas and surprises.
