Hooray it’s May! The flowers are blooming, the grass is turning green again, the trees are budding leaves and the bunny rabbits are back to inhabiting my backyard – that part’s not so great since they keep killing my grass, but they sure are cute so they can stay for now. *Adding to my list of green alternative searches: rabbit repellant. HA. Anyway, spring just makes me so happy with all the rebirth going on. It’s a living reminder that things change for the good and often get better when we think they won’t. It’s a reminder to listen to and reflect nature’s rhythms. Slow down (growth takes time). Accept change (it out of our control like the seasonal transitions). Live through the emotions (weather being nature’s emotions). Celebrate and decorate (like Mother Nature does with the flowers). And enjoy the moments. I’m trying to live like nature this morning by sitting outside on the deck on this sunny warm Sunday morning with some tea in one hand and my baby in the other. And in case, after your Sunday slow down, you need some entertainment for your week ahead, I’ve rounded up some reads from the interwebs for just that purpose. Enjoy and have a lovely slow down Sunday!
